Coal India Limited had long back refused to meet the country's increasing coal demand and as a result of which, there was uniform cut in coal supplies to industries by Coal India Limited, thereby forcing everyone to import coal. We also import coal to meet such shortfall requirement of coal of our customers. We have strong tie-ups with Australian, Indonesian and South African miners for regular supplies of different grades of coal to meet the exact specification of the customers. This strong tie-up helps in better negotiations in prices for our valued customers. We have linkup with shipping companies for timely placement of vessels of different size and specification. We have also strong presence in different ports for speedy clearance and delivery of coal to our consumers.
